Acknowledgement Receipt Sample
The acknowledgement receipt sample is a document that verifies that a buyer has received the requested products or the rendering of services was done. The main purpose of having this receipt is to record the movement of cash, documents or goods from one person to another. This receipt was issued by one organization to another company who was responsible for selling and delivering the goods and to close the deals between both parties.
Content of Acknowledgement Receipt
First, you need to mention that it is an “Acknowledgement Receipt”, then write your name or the name of the company. Then there is a column for the names of other parties and the list of items that you have requested. After describing the items, you can mention if you encounter any kind of problem. You should write an acknowledgement receipt just after receiving the items. This will confirm the seller that their delivery was successful. This is a short document that verifies the delivery of goods, so you should keep a personalized message short and direct by stating the list of items received and then list down those that you didn’t receive. The condition of the items can also be listed if you have encountered any problem. Lastly, there should be your signature on the bottom part of the receipt, and the date of the issuance of the receipt.
Importance of Acknowledgement Receipt
An acknowledgement receipt sample is usually prepared by the person making the delivery and is signed by the person receiving the delivery. This receipt confirms firstly the behavior and the attitude of the person delivering the products, as you should enter the name of the person who will make the delivery. Secondly, by proving the description of products, it helps you to inform the company if you have faced any kind of trouble while making the payment or in quantity. An acknowledgement receipt serves as proof of delivery for both the person who is making the delivery and to the person who receives it as there are at least two copies of this document, but the original copy of the Acknowledgement of Receipt is kept by the person who delivers the products. Moreover, it helps all the involved parties by closing the purchase transaction through sending acknowledgment that all the products have been received.
